Hey gang!

Greetings from sunny LA. There's been a lot life lived in LA, NYC, Massachusetts and New Hampshire since my last contact with you all. Lots of beach time, floating in pools, hanging out with friends and family as well as brainstorming creative projects! I hope you had an amazing Summer and that this message finds you happy, healthy and living life to the fullest.

Professional News:

I've been asked to be the resident artist and commissioned to write my woman show through Coco Roberge and her amazing Shift Theatre Company in Vancouver. http://www.shifttheatre.ca/#  It's a thrilling(where fear & excitement meet) and daunting task. Incredibly fortunate to have Coco and the amazing Fitzmaurice Voicework® Master Teacher, Andy Belser, for my mentors through this project which will culminate in a public offering in the Spring of 2018.

I'm also happy to report that I will be in Vancouver directing the June 2018 production for Reality Curve Theatre Co  https://www.realitycurve.com/ who are about to open THE PILLOWMAN by Martin McDonagh and are the same fine folks who brought you BUG by Tracy Letts last year. I was psyched to attend The Jessie Awards in June to represent my Best Actress nomination. I'm now a proud member of the company and can't wait to stage the creepy and comedic REBORNING by Zayd Dohrn.

Upcoming Classes and Workshops:

I'll be heading to Vancouver in October to teach my Master Meisner Technique class once again to the 3rd year Theatre/Screen students at Capilano University. I'll be in town until the end of November as my Cap gig will role right into a 4 day FitzMeisner intensive back at the Dharma Lab November 9,10,11,12. You must have previously studied with me in order to attend...even if it was for a short workshop.

I'll also be offering my hybrid Fitzmaurice Voicework®/Meisner Technique 5 Day Intensive hosted my the Union of British Columbia Performers. You must have UBCP Apprentice status or be a full Member to attend. Keep an eye out for their newsletter as you have to register through them. Dates are November 13th through November 17th from 10am to 4pm daily.

In between November teaching gigs I will be heading to Aristotle University in Greece with my esteemed Leadership colleague, Russ Hamilton, where we will participate as facilitators during an international symposium. The goal of the conference is to bring together hundreds of people from throughout Europe and the world, from many walks of life, across academic disciplines and with a variety of community practices who are all, in various ways, exploring performance, play and the arts as alternative approaches to traditional ways of educating students, practicing therapy, engaging social problems, and activating communities.

Stay tuned for more workshop updates I'll be offering in NYC and Vancouver in the New Year.

I look forward to connecting with you in the near future.
